All The Small Things

So many things have happened since the end of the O's - I'm hardly at home now! (Okay, maybe that's compensation for making me stay at home after Bio Paper 1 ^^)

And that gives me 1000 things to write about! Let's start in chronological order!

Wednesday, 14th November

Went out with girlfriends Aurina (Neh-neh), Amanda, Yilin (Cat), Hui Shan and Elaine (Dumb Pig)! We met at 9.45am at AMK Station, took a train down to Orchard, where we started our hunt for prom stuff at Forever 21!

Then we headed to Topshop, walked around, collected postcards, haha. Then we walked (yes, walked, me in my slightly-heeled slip-ons and Elaine in her full-fledged heels!) to Far East, and stopped for lunch at SUBWAY! It was Neh-neh's and Cat's first time eating at Subway, and it was my second (my first was at AMK Hub with Hui Shan).

The funniest thing is, since Neh and Cat were sharing a meal, they planned to order the longer sandwich; since Amanda wasn't eating & I had no one to share with, I wanted the shorter one. So imagine the shock when I realised I had ordered the FOOTLONG one, and the pair had called for the 6-INCH ONE! Completely swapped, my friends, LOL! So I had to wolf down one whole foot of Subway Club with Honey Oat bread ($11.50! ;_;) while Neh and Cat fed on 3 inches of sandwich each ^___________-

I was kind enough though to offer a quarter of my sandwich to Cat, although she had irksomely removed the beef first. Heh. Well after that (and some weird-smelling Tomato Garden Soup) we walked around Far East, for about three hours (according to Neh). I got a black-and-gold bangle as part of a 3-for-$10 bargain with Cat and Neh, but besides that, nothing else prom-related. There were so many cool shops, including one Jap-themed store I was sooooooo attracted to (I might even consider working there, but no time la, & besides I have SPH!). So many that one day wasn't enough for us shopaholics, so we're going down there again tomorrow *more on that later*.

Then we walked all the way back to Takashimaya to get a look at the HUGE GLAMOROUS X'mas tree on display. We sidetracked (quite a few times!) on the way there, including getting fascinated with the spiral escalator at Wheelock Place (it was Cat's idea). Snap snap snap, photo after crazy photo, then we finally saw the great magnificent CHRISTMAS TREE. :DD We took a few photos (like some deranged tourists) and went to Kinokuniya!

Now we were also looking for Miss Lew's wedding gift and I had a strong feeling we would find it at Kino. Okay, so my primary motive was to buy my manga (translated title: Computer Club Romance) BUT we did find the present! Heh, I am psychic, I tell you!

So we left for home from there. Cat was kind enough *coughcough* to walk me to the bus-stop outside CG, since she can take a bus from there too instead of the MRT.

Well, that sums it up for Wednesday - ALONE! Ready for more? :DD

Thursday, 15th November

4/5 Chalet! Met the same people at the same time & same place before heading off to Harbourfront, where we met up with the rest of the class. Only we met some of the guys on the train itself, haha! Namely Tommy, Xun Hao, Winston, Zaiyou & Eu Hao. Tommy had brought his basketball and I was SOELATED. Depsite it having little air, Tommy had brought a pump with him so that was solved.

Then we exited Harbourfront and had to wait at the station for about 45 minutes for the rest of the class to arrive. Neh went fascinated-by-bags-mode and snapped some shots of the bags we carried xD After most of the class had arrived we went to VivoCity and lolled around while the tickets were being bought. Then we took the skytrain to SENTOSA! (Where our chalet was, duh!)

Well, when the PURPLE skytrain arrived, something like 7/8 of our class piled into the front and middle carriage, but like 4 of us walked into the completely secluded last carriage. o_O okay.

Our day at Sentosa started with a pack of Uno cards (courtesy of Anna), an ant-infested picnic table that Randy had taken a liking to park his butt on, and a big bag of ice that everyone took turns hugging. The series of events after that were a blur; I think I went off to play basketball with Cat, Amanda, ZY, Eu Hao and Tommy, while Xinyi joined the others to go cycling.

The basketball game was HOT, I tell you, not because of the scores but because of the BLAZING SUN. Partly 'cos I was wearing all black, big mistake! Not more than 5 minutes had I started dribbling and I was already feeling dizzy and dehydrated. So I gave up and walked along the shore when I met Hui Shan and Elaine. We cam-whored a bit before GY and Eu Hao joined us (by the shore, I mean, not cam-whoring) and I found out that Randy and the other cyclists had gone off to 7-Eleven! I immediately phoned Randy and asked him to buy me a bottle of Coke P:

After that I rushed to the picnic table and slushed it down my throat (after shaking it of course) - HEAVEN in a bottle! Then I borrowed Cheryl Tan's bike (she was tired already!) and we cycled like mad dogs until it started to drizzle.

Most of the class went to check out the chalet but a few of us girls (Xinyi, Yilin, Amanda, Aurina, Lilan and Anna) chose to slack on the tram first ("wo xian zai bu shi hen slack already meh?" quoted Yilin!). We were just heading to one of the stops when one tram passed us and we realised the guys were on it! LOL we exchanged stupified "eh?!" looks and continued on...

After this I don't really remember what happened. Um... Yes, we saw the chalet and were extremely stupefied by the size of it (more stupefied than when we saw the guys in the tram!). Then we sat on the TINY bed telling ghost tales, then ate some pre-cooked nuggets and CHEESY FISHBALLS! (okay no link, ghost tales and cheesy fishballs! LOL!) Then we headed out, had a fit with the hidden-behind-the-intercom guard about letting us out (not IN, mind you, OUT! I bet it's the whole 'let the bomb in, but don't let the terrorists out' gig!), and went to 7-Eleven (we were supposed to look for thongs for the food and charcoal since Randy & the gang had gone to watch movie >_> but they don't sell thongs).

Walkwalkwalk along the beach, saw Neh, Cat & Amanda sun-tanning, crapped a bit, buried Amanda's legs in the sand, then headed back to the chalet to swim! :DD In our full clothes. Then bathed, ate lots (the sting ray rocks! "Can so taste the lemon grass!" quoted Hui Shan!), sat around, crapped, then went out (HAH! This time we knew the secret password! BLEH! :P) to play basketball in the dark before going home. It's difficult to play in the dark, I tell you! Can't see the ball at all! Well in the end Tommy and Cat pwned Xinyi, Neh and me, and then we went home.

OKAY gotta go play bball now! Will continue the series of events PLUS photos! Don't miss out! ;DD

I know, I know, I swore to everyone that I'd only start another blog after the O's (seeing as to how my previous one was mysteriously deleted >_>) BUT I was just curious about LJ, so I thought, hey why not, anyway I won't get carried away.

Much.

But I know that when I feel like doing something, I should do it straight away, or I'll never get to do it ever again. (Well not ever again but you get my drift.)

I didn't wanna put up another blog, really, since my heart remains true to adolescentsparty.blogspot.com, but it's gone. And freaking Blogger won't let me create another account, SO. LJ it is. (LiveJournal, I mean, not that Blogger is LJ or anything. LJ, as in... The other thing it can possibly stand for.)

Another reason why I absolutely have to start another blog is because I have so many things going on in my head. I tried typing in my computer that never goes online but it's just not the same as blogging - I dunno why.

I learned that it's okay not to understand certain things. Some stuff that happens, that goes on around you, it's okay not to know, it's better not to care. To ignore the chaos is utter bliss.

&

For my graduation wishlist (if there's such a thing!), I would like all of these granted:

 1. That my colours will soar for the O's (haha);
 2. We can have a hell of a time, me and all my buddies (both from school and IN) after the exams;
 3. We have a BLAST in Bangkok (^^;), and
 4. Anna the emo to cheer up :DD
I don't think Anna will be reading this, since none of my friends know (yet) that I've started an LJ blog. But I'm sure Anna will be, I dunno, surprised, maybe. Because we're not exactly the closest of friends. But that doesn't stop me from knowing you, Anna! Cheer up! Everything's gonna be fine. =)

And I would like to pour something out, something that I've been keeping for so long (okay not that long).

*RANTING BEGINS*

I was a bit unnerved when they went _____________-ing and they didn't invite me. I mean okay, I'm not saying that I should be invited to every single celebration, but they are after all some of the people I hang out with. AND they went to celebrate ______'s ____________. So how could they exclude me? Maybe someone told them that I was going to _______ _______ with that other group of friends, but still I just really hope they asked me anyway. And to see the photos that __________ posted up on her blog, it makes me sad, because I wasn't even asked to an event so crucial as that.

But then again, there is a slight blessing to me not being 'invited'. I imagine that if I were to go along with them, I would be excluded (as usual). And I'd like to make it clear that I am so, so sick of being excluded. If I had a choice of being with a bunch of friends who don't include me in their conversation (and I mean they literally pretend like they don't even know me) and being alone, I would rather much be alone. Because being alone doesn't mean I'll feel lonely.

If any of my friends read this and they know who I'm talking about, please don't make this molehill into a Mt. Everest because that is not my intention. I'm not wanting to pick a fight with anyone. I'm not mad or pissed with anyone. I'm just rather upset about certain things right now and I just need this to pour everything out. So if anyone of you know what I'm ranting about, please don't turn this into a whole confrontation thing because that's not the motive of this entry. Okay? Just leave it as it is. I'm not unhappy right now, but I'll be if you happen to try to do something about it.

*RANTING ENDS*

Alright, now that is finally out, I can relax now. Time to go get some rest, or maybe even eat Roti Prata. Hmm. I opt for the prata. P:
